5 Reasons Why You Are Not Enjoying Music

If there is anything in this world that can refresh our good old memories, relieve us from our daily stress, motivate us to be our best selves, and inspire us is music. Although, not everyone is enjoying music to the fullest. Whether you are the individual who used to listen to music a lot earlier than now or the one who is fed up of listening to the same old music, this article is for you! Here are the 10 reasons why you are not enjoying your music:

1. Poor Quality Audio

It doesn’t matter if you are a casual music listener, an audiophile or a music composer because if you don’t really know that there is a difference between low (92 kbps or below) and high (320kbps or more) audio bitrate, then you’re definitely suffering from bad music experience. Aim to get the highest quality audio bitrate from your source audio. We recommend dumping pirated music, because majority of piracy in music is what destroys music experience.

2. Bad Headphones

We fail to realize how much detail we are missing in any masterpiece composed by a music artist by just using any headphones. Headphones, such as Tekfusion’s Twinwoofers M 2.0 headset has been designed to offer a higher bandwidth of frequency response, which means that you can hear every single beat without a miss. You can buy headphones online at Tekfusion’s web store.

3. Deprived Audio Source

If your audio source – be it a smartphone, iPod, Car Multimedia Player, Laptop or Tablet – doesn’t offer a good sound chip (hardware that produces sound), then you are not getting the most out of your music. A quick way to cross check if you have a bad sound chip is by perusing different target devices with your headphones. Majority of modern smartphones do have an optimum performance in terms of audio, and dedicated audio players, which have options to play FLAC music should be a better choice for audiophiles.

4. No Sound Equalizers

Forget about the myth that good pair of headphones do not require sound equalizers. The way we perceive sound quality is very subjective to our own taste. A headphone manufacturer or maker cannot define a default audio spectrum for a consumer. Ideally, the preference of adjusting bass or treble will vary from one individual to another. Majority of smartphones comes with music apps that integrate sound equalizers. If your music app doesn’t support equalization, it’s definitely time to pull up the socks!

5. Repetitive Music

Everyone knows that music brings back memories, and there are the always the golden songs that never get old, and we agree! But sometimes, we look up for music and we just get to hear a song that just sets the bar higher for our entire music collection. Someone said it right, that variety is the essence of life. As a discerning music listener, who is in the quest to get refreshed with his or her music, you need to sit down and listen to different music genres to realize that the world has more to offer than just what you have been hearing. Did you know that music genres such as “Glitch Soulazz”, “Space Trap” and “Orchestral IDM” even existed? Out of 1,264 micro-genres of music identified by Glenn McDonald, you should definitely find something that makes the magic happen again!

  1. The worst thing is that iPhones don’t come with 5 band or 10 band equalizers. Although they have presets which are awesome to use. Awesome article.!

    1. That is true, the iPhone’s presets helps you select the spectrum. Try all of them to check which one suits you the best.!

  2. To my honest opinion, after upgrating my earbuds to Tekfusions, I’m enjoying every beat of music, but I think you forgot to mention about the burn-in option, which is cool.
